Use of Privately Owned Park
Privately owned park hours are dawn to dusk daily, unless a written request to use after dark is submitted to an officer 24 hours in advance. Guests may use the park only when accompanied by the owner or owner's immediate family.
Dues Assessment
Assessments (aka HOA Dues) are outlined in the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions for Skyler Subdivision (herein the "Declaration") beginning with Article 6.1. All owners agreed, by acceptance of the deed to their lot, to abide by the Declaration, including the timely payment of Regular and Special Assessments.
Regular Assessments are currently $150 per year and cover the cost of HOA-owned water shares, maintenance and operation of the irrigation pump, park and other common areas, mailing of notices and other expenditures determined to be for the common good of the association at annual and special meetings. Assessments that are not paid timely, or payment arrangements made in a timely manner, will incur interest in accordance with Article 6.6 D of the Declaration. Any owner who is not current on dues as of the date of any meeting shall have his/her voting right suspended until payment in full, plus accrued interest, has been made in accordance with Article 3.1 B of the Declaration.
Meetings
Meeting notices are mailed to each owner of record and posted in the park gazebo at least 14, but not more than 60 days prior to the meeting. It is the owner's right and responsibility to appoint a proxy or appear in person to vote on agenda items. Proxy forms are now mailed with notices to the address of record for each home. Please keep the secretary and treasurer apprised of changes in your mailing address.
